Stefano Scutari and Lica Cecato, after making their first CD together in 1992, followed different paths professionally, even geographically, and made numerous albums with other musicians and formations.

 

As TWO COMETES (DUE COMETE, album title), making their trajectories in the universe of music, they celebrate their reunion through their new creation, using this pandemic period in a fruitful way, giving birth to twelve original songs.

 

The album keeps the duo's preference for the acoustic sonority, with Stefano on the guitar, Lica on vocals, together with their common friend Donatella Castellani on backing-vocals and Leo di Angilla on percussion, with swing and elegance, performing in

almost every song.

 

A wide range of rhythms, not only the typical Brazilian sound, but also with a Mediterranean touch, going from milonga, to samba, to English pop, to Italian canzone.
